Bees in Space

Text Box:

Bees in Space is a community and schools based three-year project to launch stingless bees to the International Space Station and eventually to Mars, as part of the long term space program of the European Space Agency and NASA.

Experts in space technology, biology and education have designed the project, but many of the decisions about the direction of the project and the experiments themselves will be made by primary and secondary students from across Australia and the world.
